DIRECTORATE OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT

The Department of Technical Education and Skill Development (DTE&SD), Madhya Pradesh Government has been working to ensure the desired skilled manpower for an all-round development of the state. The Directorate of Skill Development is functioning under DTE&SD, GoMP administers the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) Madhya Pradesh:

At present, there are 221 Government ITIs and 717 Private ITIs in the state of Madhya Pradesh. These Industrial Training Institutes provide skill development training and have seating capacity of approximately 50000 in Government ITIs and 115000 in Private ITIs and in total approximately 1,65,000.

Employment opportunities for I.T.I. trained boys/girls in several prestigious private organisations like- Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hundai, Escorts, Reliance, Aditya Birla, Honda, Essar, L&T, ITC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Jindal, Wipro, Infosy, Videocon etc.

Loan without guarantee is available to I.T.I. trained people for self-employment under Mudra loan Scheme by government.
Free books are available for reading and study in the library of I.T.I.
Scholarship/Fee Reimbursement provision as per the rules at State Government during the training of I.T.I.
Free training to S.C./S.T. trainees.
