Patiala Locomotive Works, PLW is scheduled to close the registration link for its latest recruitment drive which aims to select candidates for Apprentice post. The recruitment notification is there on the official website of PLW on plw.indianrailways.gov.in. Interested candidates who have not applied yet should make sure to fill and submit their forms today. Applications submitted post deadline will not be accepted in any case.
Interested candidates should know that a total of 295 Apprentice post will be filled, out of which 140 posts are for electrician, 40 for Mechanic (Diesel), 15 for Machinist, 75 for Fitter, and 25 for Welder (G&E). List of important dates and steps to apply can be checked here.

PLW Apprentice Recruitment: Eligibility criteria and required qualification
Age Limit: For Electrician, Mechanic, Machinist, Fitter and Welder posts, candidates should be at least of 15 years of age. The maximum age limit for the post of Electrician, Mechanic (Diesel), Machinist and Fitter is 24 years of age and for Welder post it is 22 years of age.
Education Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10 with a minimum of 55 percent marks in the subjects – Maths and Science under 10 plus 2 educations. Candidate should be an ITI pass in the respective area.

Candidates should click on the link for apprentice form, get themselves registered and fill in required details
They should upload the required documents, and pay the fees if required
