Assam ITI Admission 2025

The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam, under the Skill, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, conducts the state-level ITI admission process for the 2025–26 session. Admissions are merit-based and held online.

• Registration Opens: 22 May 2025

 

• Registration & Document Verification Ends: 10 June 2025 (5 PM)

 

• Rank List Release: around 13–14 June 2025

 

• Choice Filling: 14–17 June 2025

 

• 1st Seat Allotment: 19 June 2025

 

• 1st Allotted Candidates Reporting: 20–23 June 2025

 

• 2nd Seat Allotment: 25 June 2025; reporting by 30 June

 

• 3rd–5th e‑Counselling Rounds: July 2025

 

• Spot Round Counselling: August 2025

Eligibility Criteria

 
• Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam

 

• Minimum age: 14 years as on 1 August 2025

 

• No upper age limit

 

• Minimum educational qualification: pass in Class 8 or Class 10 (specific to trade)

 

• For Class 10-based trades: minimum 35 % in qualifying exam with Maths & Science

 

• Final-year students may also apply

Application Fee

 
• Flat fee of ₹25 per candidate

 

• Payment modes: Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking

Application Process

 
1. Visit the official portal: itiassam.admissions.nic.in

 

2. Complete “New Candidate Registration”

 

3. Fill in personal, academic, address, and category details

 

4. Upload scanned photo, signature, and certificates

 

5. Pay ₹25 registration fee online

 

6. Submit form and retain the confirmation printout

 

7. Undergo document verification at the nearest Government ITI

Selection & Counselling Process

Selection is done through a merit list based on qualifying marks. Counseling is conducted online via multiple e-rounds:

 
• Choice filling and locking for preferred ITIs and trades

 

• Seat allotment based on merit and preferences

 

• Candidates must report to allotted ITI with necessary documents and fees

 

• Subsequent rounds (2nd, 3rd, up to 5th) and a spot round will be held to fill remaining seats

Fee Structure (Post Allotment)

  • Tuition: ₹600 per year (₹1200 for 2-year courses)

       

  • Caution Money: ₹250

  • Hostel Charge (if applicable): ₹50 + ₹250 caution money

• শিক্ষাগত অৰ্হতা: স্বীকৃত বিদ্যালয়ৰ পৰা অষ্টম বা দশম উত্তীৰ্ণ।
