Semester – I

  • (i) Develop personality and maintain team work as well as organizational hierarchy
  • (ii) Perform the activities of front desk, bell desk, telephones and business communication
  • (iii) Ensure the functioning of various records, tariff cards, room position and locking system
  • (iv) Handling techniques of computer and acquire knowledge of Windows operating system
  • (v) Create and save a document file in word processing application
  • (vi) Create an Excel worksheets compiling with data and charts presenting in a Power Point application
  • (vii) Input and manage data in MSaccess interface
  • (viii) Ensure the concept of internet services, collect information and communicate through e-mail
  • (ix) Prepare up-to-date records of occupancy
  • (x) Keep personalized records and ensure services for identified guests
  • (xi) Compute guest registration process and maintain property management system

Semester – II

  • (xii) Express services through interpersonal communication skill
  • (xiii) Provide bell boy as needed by a guest and monitor CCTV
  • (xiv) Use up-selling and suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel
  • (xv) Follow the post departure activities
  • (xvi) Performs cashiering tasks like bill / invoice settlement
  • (xvii) Maintain positive attitude for dealing with various guest conflict
  • (xviii) Prepare & analyse data of occupancy with briefing and debriefing checklist
  • (xix) Prepare Room Packages and Guest Feed backs
  • (xx) Revision, Project work and Examination
