प्रभात प्रकाशन: संक्षिप्त परिचय

प्रभात प्रकाशन विगत साठ वर्षों से साहित्य की प्रायः सभी विधाओं में एक विस्तृत पाठक वर्ग को श्रेष्ठतम पाठ्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराते हुए वर्तमान में देश में हिंदी पुस्तकों के प्रमुख और सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रकाशन-गृह के रूप में 5,000 पुस्तकों का प्रकाशन कर अपनी पहचान बना चुका है। अपने स्थापना-काल सन् 1958 से ही ‘उचित मूल्य पर अच्छी पुस्तकें’ संस्थान का नीतिगत सिद्धांत रहा है। उत्कृष्ट गुणवत्ता-नीति को देखते हुए अंतरराष्ट्रीय मानक संस्थान ‘मूडी’ द्वारा ISO 9001:2015 प्रकाशक से प्रमाणित, जो विश्व में पहली बार किसी हिंदी प्रकाशन संस्थान को दिया गया है। उत्तम गुणवत्ता के लिए पिछले बीस वर्षों से भारतीय प्रकाशन उद्योग के मुख्य संघ ‘फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन पब्लिशर्स’ द्वारा लगातार ‘प्रकाशन में श्रेष्ठता’ के लिए प्रथम पुरस्कार से सम्मानित। भारत के 60 शहरों में सर्वे कराने के बाद प्रतिष्ठित मार्केट सर्वे संस्था ICMR (इंडियन काउंसिल ऑफ मार्केट रिसर्च) ने पुस्तक प्रकाशन के क्षेत्र में ब्रांड प्रसिद्धि हेतु प्रभात प्रकाशन को STAR BRAND के लिए चयनित किया था। पाठकों को कम मूल्य पर पुस्तकें उपलब्ध कराकर उनकी साहित्यिक अभिरुचि में श्रीवृद्धि करने की दृष्टि से प्रभात पेपरबैक्स के बैनर तले लोकप्रिय एवं जनोपयोगी पुस्तकों का अल्पमोली संस्करण प्रकाशित। ओशियन बुक्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के माध्यम से अंग्र्रेजी भाषा में श्रेष्ठ पुस्तकें प्रकाशित। हिंदी पाठकों को सुरुचिपूर्ण पाठ्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने के लिए अगस्त 1995 में लब्धप्रतिष्ठ साहित्यकार पं. विद्यानिवास मिश्र के संपादकत्व में साहित्य अमृत मासिक पत्रिका का प्रकाशन प्रारंभ, जो अब साहित्यिक जगत् में एक सुपरिचित नाम बन गया है।
