This program is aimed at training candidates for the job role of “Carpenter Wooden Furniture”. By the end of the course , the participants will be able to: · Identify and select tools, equipment and materials used in carpentry. · Use and store tools, equipment and materials used in carpentry in a safe manner. · Work from blueprints, sketches or instructions. · Perform operations such as sawing, planning, and sanding. · Assemble wooden parts using glue, screws, nails and other means. · Make joints and simple products.
