Bihar ITI Admission 2025

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the Industrial Training Institute Competitive Admission Test (ITICAT) for admission into government and private ITIs across Bihar.

Important Dates

• Registration Opens: 6 March 2025
• Last Date to Apply: 24 May 2025 (extended)

• Correction Window: 19–20 May 2025

Eligibility Criteria

• Class 10 pass with Mathematics & Science
• Minimum age: 14 years as on 1 August 2025
• No upper age limit (17 years minimum for some vehicle trades)
• Bihar residency required

• SC / ST: ₹100
• PwD: ₹430

Application Process

2. Register via the ITICAT 2025 link
3. Fill in personal and academic details
4. Upload photo, signature, and certificates
5. Pay the application fee online
6. Submit the form and take a printout
7. Download the admit card upon release

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

• Mode: Offline (OMR)
• Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes
• Questions: 150 (50 each in Math, Science, General Knowledge)
• Marks: 300 (2 marks per correct answer, no negative marking)
• Syllabus follows CBSE/BSEB 10th-level subjects

Admission & Counselling

• Admission is merit‑based via ITICAT score
• Counselling follows result declaration
• Includes choice filling, seat allotment, and document verification
• Multiple counselling rounds including mop‑up till October 2025

Seats & Trades

Over 33,000 seats are available across government and private ITIs for more than 130 trades including electrician, fitter, welder, COPA, mechanic (diesel/vehicle), plumber, etc.

पात्रता मानदंड

• शैक्षणिक योग्यता: अभ्यर्थी ने 10वीं कक्षा पास की हो (गणित और विज्ञान विषयों सहित)।

सिलेबस

• गणित: संख्या पद्धति, बीजगणित, ज्यामिति, त्रिकोणमिति, क्षेत्रमिति, सांख्यिकी आदि।
• सामान्य विज्ञान: 10वीं स्तर तक भौतिकी, रसायन, जीवविज्ञान।
• सामान्य ज्ञान: करंट अफेयर्स, इतिहास, भूगोल, नागरिक शास्त्र, अर्थशास्त्र।

प्रवेश प्रक्रिया

1. आईटीआईसीएटी परीक्षा देना अनिवार्य है।
2. परिणाम के आधार पर काउंसलिंग प्रक्रिया के लिए योग्य उम्मीदवारों को बुलाया जाएगा।
3. चॉइस फिलिंग और सीट अलॉटमेंट के बाद डॉक्यूमेंट वेरिफिकेशन होगा।
4. प्रवेश शुल्क जमा कर सीट की पुष्टि करनी होगी।
