This Course deals with the Practical aspects of Library and Information Science. It introduces you with both theoretical and practical aspects of Library classification, for this purpose DDC-19th edition is discussed in detail. Cataloguing with AACR-2R and MARC-21 is also covered in this course. The course also provides practical training on different indexing processes.

After completing this course you will be able to do classification, cataloguing and indexing of documents.
