The Department of Training & Technical Education (DTTE), Government of NCT of Delhi, is conducting the Delhi ITI admission process for the 2025–26 session. Admissions are merit-based and conducted entirely online.
Important Dates
- Online Registration Opens: 2 June 2025
- Registration, Document Verification & Choice Filling Close: 2 July 2025
- Tentative Rank List Published: 7 July 2025
- Objection Window: 8–9 July 2025
- Final Rank List: 15 July 2025
- 1st Seat Allotment: 18 July 2025
- Reporting for 1st Round: 21–24 July 2025
- 2nd Seat Allotment: 5 August 2025
- Reporting for 2nd Round: 6–8 August 2025
- 3rd Seat Allotment: 19 August 2025
- Reporting for 3rd Round: 20–22 August 2025
Eligibility Criteria
- Passed Class 8 or Class 10 from a recognized board
- Minimum age: 14 years (as of 1 August 2025). Trades like DST required 18+; Tech. Electronics trades require 16+.
- No upper age limit
Application Fee
- ₹200 (non‑refundable). Payment can be made via credit/debit card or net banking.
Application Process
- Visit the official portal: itidelhi.admissions.nic.in
- Click “New Registration” and sign up
- Log in and fill in personal, academic, and trade preferences
- Upload photograph, signature, mark sheets, ID, and category certificate, if applicable
- Pay the ₹200 application fee & submit the form
- Download the confirmation receipt
- Document verification is done online by DTTE
Merit, Seat Allotment & Counselling
Admissions are based on a merit list derived from qualifying exam marks. The process includes:
- Display of tentative rank list (7 July). Objections can be raised until 9 July
- Final rank list released 15 July
- Multiple seat allotment rounds (18 July onwards) with reporting deadlines
- Options to upgrade, reshuffle choices in successive rounds
Trades & Institutes
Delhi Government and private ITIs offer over 54 trades under CTS and DST. Notable trades include Electrician, Fitter, Welder, COPA, Carpenter, Plumber, Fashion Design, Food Production, Stenography, and more. There are 19 government ITIs with 11,336 seats in total.
Documents Required
- Photograph and signature
- Class 8th/10th mark sheet and certificate
- Aadhaar card or valid photo ID
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD), if applicable
- Proof of age
- Domicile certificate (if available)
- Medical fitness certificate (if needed)
