As India envisions to become a $5 trillion economy, it is imperative that women, accounting for half of the country’s population, enter the workforce. NSDC partnered with Dr Reddy's Foundation for a pilot skill-deployment training program that provides solutions for increasing women employability, targeting the age group of 35-45.

The key findings of the program are keenness to learn ways of managing finances (literacy including digital and online transactions), more job opportunities with work-from-home options as women tend to prioritize their families, confidence-building and acquiring soft skills, and sensitization of employers and male family members.
