West Bengal ITI 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates must check all the eligibility conditions carefully and should proceed ahead after ensuring eligibility for the concerned course. The courses are divided into two groups i.e. Group E and Group M and eligibility criteria may differ for each group. Candidates can check important eligibility facts, which are as under:

Age Limit

• The minimum age of the candidates should be 14 years as on 1st August 2019.
• There is no upper age limit assigned for seeking admission in ITI courses.

Eligibility for Group “M” Courses/Trades

• 10th class or equivalent exam passed from a recognised board/institute.
• Candidates should have Physical Science and Mathematics in the qualifying exam for admission in Engineering Group courses.
• Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.

Eligibility for Group “E” Courses/Trades

• Applicants must have completed 8^th standard from any recognised school under West Bengal State Board.

West Bengal ITI 2019 Application Form

• The interested candidates seeking admission in ITI courses in different trades/courses at any Government/Private institutions must apply within the prescribed time frame.
• The WBSCVT will invite application form for West Bengal ITI 2019 most probably in the month of February 2019.
• Candidates need to purchase information bulletin containing OMR application form from WBSCVT authorised Govt. ITIs/ITCs/Govt. Sponsored IITs/ITIs under PPP.
• However, applicants can also apply through online mode at the official website.
• Candidates should fill the application form carefully with all the details asked therein.
• Also, pay the necessary application fee which is a mandatory requirement.

Application Fee

• OMR Application Form- Rs.350/- (Rs.175/- only for candidates enrolled under Kanyashree Scheme).
• Online Application Form- Rs.330/- (Rs.165/- for candidates enrolled under Kanyashree Scheme).

WB ITI Exam Pattern

• All the students should be aware of the examination scheme for better scoring.
• All the questions will be multiple choice in nature.
• Both groups will have separate paper.
• Candidate should prepare as per the concerned course.
• Generally, questions will be based on General Knowledge, Mathematics, English and Reasoning.
• The question paper will be of 2.00 hours duration.

WB ITI Admit Card

Candidates can download admit card from official website. Admit card is an essential document for appearing in the entrance test. Candidates need to put name/registration number and date of birth in the web link for getting admit card. Download the admit card and take a printout of the same.

West Bengal ITI 2019 Result

• The WBSCVT will declare WB ITI 2019 result on its official website.
• Candidates can easily download the result with the help of roll number and date of birth etc.
• The WBSCVT ITI result is expected to be available in the month of June 2019.
• Qualified candidates need to attend counselling process for final admission.

West Bengal ITI 2019 Counselling

Candidates, who will qualify the entrance exam, need to attend counselling for further admission process. The concerned authority will place notification for counselling on its official website. Candidate will get an opportunity to opt course/trade during the counselling process. At the admission will be finalized on the basis of candidates performance in written test, counselling and availability of seats in particular course/trade.
