Saumya Rajan is currently working as Regional Director, National Institute of Open Schooling Regional Office, Pune, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. She is a D.Phil. in English Literature from the University of Allahabad and trained in Incorporating Gender Concerns in Public Policy from the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi, India. She is certified in Global Diplomacy- Diplomacy in the Modern World from the University of London and SOAS, University of London. She has availed National and Central Research Scholarships for her academic excellence. A Gold Medalist right from her school to university, she has been widely published in international journals and magazines of repute.
